Should probably stop doing that. A couple of weeks ago I scrapped my J30 vlsd for something that WORKS. Picked up a low mileage KAAZ 2-way from a local for a sweet price. Installed that and a day or two after that, sliding around claimed my clutch. It was on it's way out already so I was prepared. Toan Trinh donated me his lightly used ACT XTREME pressure plate, and I purchased an ACT sprung 6 puck, OEM TOB, and pilot bushing, and got to work on that. Banged that out real quick and broke her in. That led to some sliding around getting used to the dope driveline. Heavy clutch + OEM flywheel + DSS aluminum driveshaft + KAAZ 2 way = sweetness.

Beyond stoked on the results. Its been a long run, and it's basically over. Now its just little things. I need some Ganadors to match the vent in the GP skirts, and a cool hood eventually. Then wheels some day, but for now, it's time to just enjoy the damn thing and attend some track days!

Done waiting on people to follow through with the big game they talk. Everybody is a front or a flake. My booth I had lined up bailed and wont answer my calls, after all the game and hype he talked, and another booth is going to cost me an arm and a leg. Therefore, were taking matters into our own hands. Garage paint job, here we come. Hopefully we get good results. Stay tuned.

He filmed me as I left hahaha. They went up to some business complexes and slid around a little and met up with Russia after I dipped

Hood mode pt. deux

Now that I'm done with school, I've had a lot of time to sit around, do useless things to the car, and eat potato chips. Time to go get a new job and leave my current work place.

Wire wheeled a lot of rust off the hood skeleton, primed, and undercoated the back side of the hood. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but I'm actually really satisfied with the results.

Cleaned up, primed, painted and modded the hinges to go vertical, and got new bolts, flat, and lock washers while I was at it.

Ah the simple things. Minor details build the major picture.

So I had to shoot my brothers senior photos. Because of this, I went to check my lighting equipment to play around with it, and found out that all of my battery packs were corroded to shit and junk. On top of that, one of my hot shoes was broken off, and all of my slave batteries were dead. So over the past week I ordered all of the things I needed to get my 3 Vivitar 285 HV's up and firing once again. Last night was the test run. Expect plenty more where this came from.

Dude is making plays like no other. Body work is in progress, and the dude is making purchases. Thanks to the little pricks who slashed his tires, and carved slurs into his paint, he bought newer, cooler sized tires. Because of this, he needed more low, so he copped some new coilies. One thing leads to another with these mobiles.

As for Pat, that dude is going to be selling his car to upgrade to bigger and better things, but well keep that under wraps for now. If Jeff grows a pair, he will be doing the same thing soon as well. Keep a look out!

I can feel it. I've been burning my self out hard core for the last 2+ months with this car. Between work, school, and driving my ass out to Stoneham to work on the 240, its really taken a toll on me. Funny thing is, I wouldn't have it any other way. The people I've spent my time with, the places I've been, and the progress I've made this summer has been exactly the way I wanted it to happen. Now the finishing touch will go down this weekend. Paint will be laid on the car. This will seal my stress with this thing. I have tires in the mail, bought some wheel studs, tack cloth, and another thing of finishing glaze, the last few things I need to get this thing done. It's been a great ride, and I thank everyone who has been along with me this summer. Between hanging out, traveling, relaxing, grilling, working on the car, partying, and getting shit done.

Big thanks to Jeff and family for letting me leave my car in his garage throughout the process, getting dust and shit everywhere, letting me stay at his house 3+ times a week, letting me eat his food, traveling and lending me clothes to ruin. Toan for sharing my hype with the car. The hour long conversations about how stoked we are about how everything is falling together. Making plays on paint, and pushing me over the edge on going balls to the wall with the car. If it wasn't for you, plays like these would not be made. Pat for pushing me to build this car to another lever. The wiring help, dropping the engine in at 3AM half asleep and drunk, the harnesses, traveling everywhere, and sanding half a bumper (bitch).

All the late nights, sites I've seen, places I've been, and times I've had have been killer.

So we've been slacking. Well actually, I've been slacking. Here's some material I stole from Kevin's blog.

Here's some lazy day slip sliding. We got shunned from an auto-x event, so we ended up here.

The sliding resulted in some dude in a Volvo calling the police on us. Good thing Pat worked his magic on them. No homo.

Chilled with some Nashua dudes a while back as well. Did some sliding, as my car did some shitty running. Bogging like a bitch.

They'll bend easy if you don't adjust your suspension geometry. I snapped mine earlier this week, Shane bent his today. We replaced it on the spot. I bent the one I replaced today after dropping a tire into grass while sideways. Replacing mine again tomrrow, pinching pennies for suspension goodies. Thanks to Pat for finding all these tie rods for us to bend.

Shane and I did some cleaning to my garage. Making it more legit, cleaned it out really well, stored things correctly and then painted the floor tan with speckles.

To start things quick, my names Kevin and I run my own blog Run and Explode. Shane asked if I wanted to contribute to Bosstown which I was more than happy too. I've owned my car since May 08 and only recently this past February it has actually ran. Still a bit of work to do till its road worthy but it should be done for the meet in March. Heres a couple photos of its first maiden voyage and a teaser video of whats to come for Spring. Will be posting frequent video updates as we film. Have some big things planned for the coming months and the outcome should be worth the wait.

I recently gave admin privileges to Toan and K-Phan, so they will be posting up on here soon with other rad stuff. We talked about having some vinyls produced, and Toan and I pulled the trigger and went and made a small amount of these for ourselves. We are gaining interest on wether people would like us to make a bunch to sell. They will be made in this size (28" wide) and a smaller size (probably about 9" wide). Let us know how you feel. It's been a bitter couple of days recently eh? Ive been outside wrenching in this shit for the past 3 days. I am such an impatient person. Well, anyways, I installed my intake manifold, cold pipe, manifold spacer/gasket, and samco hoses this week. I also realized the previous owner hooked up my Greddy EBC wrong, so I fixed that too.

The car is almost out of gas from running it every other day, so I shall go get some now. Merry x-mas you schmucks.

My spacers came in today. 5 mm slip ons all around. Looks better. Got a cards space all around from the tire to fender. I also did the vertical hood mod but I forgot to take pictures of that. Oh well. I need a different bumper.

So I've been doing some re upholstering because the glove box was wrapped with a t-shirt. I bought a lot of suede for really cheap(50% off), and did a few things. Also pulled the headliner and re wrapped that in some plush headliner fabric. A friend of mine recently let me borrow a fender roller, so I went wild with that, and flared my rear fenders. Got a bit too excited and pulled them too much, so I ordered 4 5mm spacers all around to flush everything out perfectly. I need new coilovers. Saving for those now. Oh, almost forgot, I relocated my battery too. Looks like I have too much cable because I'm routing it elsewhere when I am not lazy. Pretty sure I am goign to relocate those ugly fuse boxes in the bay and tuck the harness when I get the chance.

So all the hubs and wheels are on and looking neat. Just need to fine tune it ie. drop more up front, pull the rear fenders a bit, and align it to the best of my ability because I can't find anyone local with a loooow rack. I'm getting really stoked on it. Kouki wing and tails are needed! Some day maybe.

I got home this morning from a night out with the friends, and immediately tore into the car. Running on 3 fun packs of Mini M&M's and a bottle of water, I was fueled up and ready. Tore into the hubs, and got my front 5 lug hubs on without a problem. I still need to drop it another half inch or so to look proper, along with dial in my camber to where I want it. I got one rear 5 lug hub on and finished with some assistance from my dude Timmy, and began tearing into the other rear one, when I ran out of sunlight, and realized I was slightly hungry. I also bought some Vatozone lug nuts because I left my others on the dead 240. Should have it on the ground and looking proper tomorrow. Still need to do some undercoating and install my side skirts. Anyone have a wingless wiperless black hatch? I'm going to go lay down and pass the fuck out.

So I searched a lot since I toasted the car, and had no luck. My buddy recently told me there was a nice looking hatch in Cape Cod, and I should give the dude a call. So naturally I was pumped there may be a nice black hatchback to replace my old one, and this one supposedly has some goodies in it. I called the guy up and after a few calls, and many text messages, we had a day set up to take a look at it. I hauled my ass down south on Sunday, November 1'st. When I pulled up it looked clean, besides a shitty patch jobbed hatch which needed replacing. Eh, it's replaceable. Few rust spots here and there, but nothing un-fixable. Paint and body looked straight. The owner was a straight forward, honest dude, who did half ass work, but the major things seemed done right. After a lot of stress and a huge headache, I ended up leading a tow truck from the cape back home with a new toy. Here she is. First few pictures are after I installed my front coilovers, rolled the front fenders, tucked the harnesses, and installed my steering wheel and hub. I now have my rear coilovers on rolled the rear fenders, and also installed my PBM toe arms, Project Nissan RUCA's, and lower tie brace on. The car came with a J30 differential and axles, a Drive Shaft Shop aluminum one piece drive shaft, energy suspension bushings all around, and all the other things pictured. Stoked? Youbetcha!

October 10th I was driving home in the pouring rain, when wet leaves caused me to lose control, and a boulder jumped out in front of me. I was pissed when it happened, saw my lip alive in the middle of the road, got pumped, looked at the car and got pissed again, got home and got depressed, went to bed and woke up stoked to start over even better, in that order. Oh well. Shit happens. ON TO THE AWESOME!
